Elling William (Bill) Gollings, 1878-1932, fulfilled his ambition to become a cowboy in southern Montana, and norther Wyoming at the age of 16. During his spare time he worked at sketching and painting eventually dividing his time between being a summertime cowboy and a wintertime artist, working in the little shack he built as a studio..
