1 Anon. . The Book of Winifred Maynard 82 pp.; 12mo; green cloth stamped in gilt; pasted in color frontis illus. and four tipped in color illus.
N.Y.: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1916. First Edition. Fine condition
A book of poems. The color illustrations are 3.5" x 2" rather charming renditions of nymphal dancers. According to a preface: "The author of this book, who is now dead, was a real woman, although Winifred Maynard was not her real name. These poems of hers, covering a period of thirteen years in her life . . . were written for herself, and shown to very few people. With one exception, they have been arranged in the exact order of their composition."

Very scarce, and mysterious..
