Overall a good solid copy and the folding map is very nice with just a 1" closed split at bottom edge fold junction. 
583 pp., frontis port.; 8vo; full calf; gilt stamped red & black leather spine labels; folding colored map of New York from the Battery to Central Park showing the Location of all Drinking Places; diagrams; 4 anatomical colored plates showing medical condition of kidneys, liver, stomach, etc.; many full page portraits of movement figures, etc.; front pastedown with bookplate of noted collector of books on food & drink, Marcus Crahan.
