Tipped in on front pastedown is a typed letter with holograph signature, 'Edgar' to Lolita, Mrs. Coblentz on Hoovers FBI letterhead dated 1960, thanking her for letter with enclosed clipping regarding Julius Kahn and his son, recalling to mind memories of old friends and former days, etc., etc. and wishing a Merry Christmas. Edmund D. Coblentz was a noted San Francisco newspaperman, and publisher. San Franciscan, Julius Kahn(1861-1924) was a member of the State Assembly in California, and a U. S. Congressman.
