Inscribed by the author to Charles Ozorio, a peripatetic San Francisco book collector; with typed letter, signed Barbara Muir, on Elkin Mathews letterhead, acknowledging receipt of payment from Mrs. D. Roffey, (Ozario's sister): " I am posting the book straight away . . . I have inscribed it to your brother, as he has requested. My husband died nine years ago. I hope he acknowledged receiving David McGee's book, Infinite Riches, sent by your brother. If not may I, very belatedly, do so with warmest thanks? Dave McGee was an old friend who used to come to visit us at Takeley from time to time. I'm sure my husband was delighted to have his book." Also included is the Elkin Mathews invoice to Roffey. Touch of foxing to front flap edge with a hint of offset front pastedown.
