Dated 1929, and bearing the same imprint as the genuine 1928 First Edition, but these devices were used to obscure the fact that it was published by bookseller Charles Lahr, Australian writer, publisher P. R. Stephenson, and printed by W. Graves at London in the middle of 1930, thereby protecting the printer and publishers from prosecution. Lawrence authorized this publication in a letter to Lahr, April 1929. It was published posthumously.
