304 pp.; 8vo; cloth in homemade cloth protective cover, with sewn flaps; illustrations. Ownership signature of German Miller, 437 Hill St., San Francisco Cal. on front endpaper. Also on the rest of the front e.p., and continuing to the verso, a short biography in pencil : "Jerry Miller was a San Franciscan born and bred. He was rather a gruff man & twice married . . .with wife, one son, Gordon . . . his second wife, Lillian Harris, widow of Harris who committed suicide about 1931-32 by driving a car into Crystal Springs Lake at the concrete dam one night . . .", etc, etc. Tanning to endpapers, stains to some page edges. Still a well preserved, if obscure, San Francisco relic.
