Heron, 'Eclipse first, and the rest no where!' Macaulay was not thinking of numbered editions, Sincerely, Edward F. O'Day" Also: tipped in on front endpaper a typed invoice on the letterhead of John Henry Nash for 2 copies (Nos. 1 and 2), though only the one copy here; with manuscript note which seems to be in Nash's hand, on bottom margin: " Paid 11-12-30, J H Nash, By N O'Day, Thank you!." 18pp.; 4to; marbled paper over boards, paper spine label; decorations by William Wilke. Spine faded with some closed splits to joints along top three inches. In addition: Laid in is a folded sheet, printed by the Black Vine Press, John Henry Nash, 1871-1947, a remembrance by Oscar Lewis expressly written for the Quarterly. Hard Cover. Very Good condition. The essay originally printed in The Tattler, 1709. Flodden W. Heron was a noted bibliophile, bibliographer and collector of rare materials on Lewis Carroll.
